Why #FrontEndWithKristine?

You may be wondering... there are already so many CSS challenges out there. Why another?

One of the most frequently questions I get asked is ‘how do I get started with CSS?’. There are so many front end bootcamps out there that will get you started - special mentions to my favourite Ania Kubow and Gary Simon - who both have HTML/CSS/JS bootcamps on their YouTube channels that will really accelerate your journey.

But once you’ve watched them, you’ll want to continue practicing your knowledge and this is where beginners usually get stuck. Sometimes it may be a little early to start with a full on project - and this challenge will focus on getting the fundamentals right, and then taking you through to more advanced front end concepts with animations, libraries, SVG’s etc.

I am planning to release these at least once weekly or - if time allows - twice weekly. Each challenge will also be followed with a video on my YouTube channel with some extra explanations to help you understand the concepts in more detail! ⚡

To get started, please make sure you create an account with CodePen.io which is what we will be using to complete the challenges. You can still complete the challenges without the account - but you will lose your progress as soon as you leave my website. So why not keep track of your progress so you can look back at how far you’ve come? 😉 You’ll only need a basic account with Codepen which is completely free and all you need is your email account! ✉️
